La
Crosse Technology TX3UP Remote Sensor/Transmitter
|
|
The many La Crosse
Technology weather and temperature stations that display outdoor
temperature and humidity require wireless remote sensors to sense the
weather data and transmit it to the station. Several stations come with one sensor but can
receive signals from up to three, or even five, in which case any additional sensors
desired must be ordered separately.

The
instructions for your La Crosse Technology weather station specify
which wireless remote sensors can be used with that station.
The
TX3UP Temperature Sensor with Probe senses temperature via a probe
at the end of a 10-foot (3m) wire, making it ideal for use in pools,
spas, etc. Like the TX3U, this unit has an LCD display for local
viewing.
The
sensor is wall-mounted, transmit 433 MHz signals and operates on two
AAA alkaline batteries. Average battery life is approximately one
year.
