The La Crosse
Technology WS-9023U-IT is
handsomely designed, high quality digital thermometer and hygrometer.
The
WS-9023U-IT displays the
current time, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and humidity
data transmitted by the included remote sender. Most comparable units only
transmit up to 100 ft from their outdoor remote sensor, while the
WS-9023U-IT remote sensor can transmit up to
an amazing distance of 330 feet. |

| The WS-9023U-IT
Thermo-Hygrometer is finished in black and
gold, and stands about 4 1/2 inches tall. The unit can
be free standing, with the flip out stand extended, or may be hung
on the wall. |

| Up to two additional remote
locations may be monitored by purchasing additional TX21U-IT remote
senders (only one is included).
Pressing the min/max button displays the
minimum and maximum temperature and humidity readings reached since the
last time the memory was manually reset. The La Crosse WS-9023U-IT
may be set to display temperatures in °F, in which case the clock will be
displayed in 12 hour format, or °C, in which case the clock will be
displayed in 24 hour format. Display
digits are about 3/8" high.
The distance from the remote to the display
can be up to 330 feet with no obstructions. Passing through an
exterior wall will reduce range about 20 feet, each interior wall will
reduce range about 10 feet. Results will vary depending on building
construction and the possible presence of interference. |
